So the painful lessons in how to ride a motorcycle continue. Yesterday I decided to take the bike around the block because I hadn't ridden it for a week or so. All is going smoothly until I get into our driveway. Thinking I was in neutral I chopped the throttle so the bike wouldn't die. Big Mistake! As I lunged towards our pickup truck I quickly realized I wasn't in neutral. I hit the truck and then seemed to hit the ground and bounced onto our sidewalk. I now have a huge gash (haha I said gash) in my leg, that took forever to stop bleeding, and a rattled head. Today I feel sore as hell and am completely out of it. I was talking to a co-worker and it was a huge effort to put together sentences. If the pain and confusion don't go away by tomorrow I will go to a doctor to get things checked out. I also think I will put the dirt bike on hold until we get back from Mexico. I don't want to be on my honeymoon with any broken limbs.
